Spring Is here --Again!

The Willlamette valley opens its eyes and scratches and stretches --it's spring again. Glorious sunshine and dumpdown rain. The energy of new life is infectious.
And projects abound: St. Pat's day saw an excuse to re-invigorate my old Celtic music duo Bright Waters. Mary Ditson and I played out again for the first time in a while and we plan to do more of it. She plays four instruments, maybe five, and i play six. Interesting combinations abound. Free form programming, some of it rehearsed to a fine edge, some totally off the cuff. i love it.
Sweet Aloha is active again, doing some collaborations with a hula group here in Eugene. Look for us this summer.
Been playing some Irish music with my old friend Fred Wilson. He's been playing some Scottish music with my long time colleague Linda Danielson. So naturally we've started playing together. Considering playing out as Kells Bells (but we don't do any ACDC covers as yet).
And a bog show coming at the Shedd in April Look for news elsewhere.
Meanwhile, the sap is running, the Current Occupent is squirming a bit, as well he might and we might get the constitution back after its long incarceration. Hope you're well & happy.
